Jamie Moffett leads Walking Feet Advisors. With twenty years of admission and placement experience, Jamie has advised thousands of students and parents at Bay Area Independent Schools. As a mom, she is personally aware of how the right school allows your child to thrive.
Most recently, Jamie was on the senior administrative team at Marin Country Day School where she served as the Director of Admission (K-8.) During the Covid-19 pandemic, Jamie played a leadership role in crafting and implementing new virtual admission processes that addressed the pandemic. One of the video assessments she created with a cross-school group of Admission heads was adopted by over fifty Bay Area schools in 2020.
At MCDS, before becoming the Director of Admission, Jamie served as the Director of Upper School Placement, helping 8th graders and parents plan and manage their high school application process from beginning to end. In this role, she also oversaw sixth-grade admission, delighted in being an 8th-grade advisor, and loved cultivating relationships at local and boarding secondary schools. During her tenure at MCDS, Jamie also served as a trustee for both the Bay Area Directors of Admission and The Mountain School in Corte Madera.
Prior to her eighteen years at MCDS, Jamie worked in Admission and Development at Marin Academy, consulted with San Francisco Day School, and conducted her counseling practicum in South Bay public schools. Early in her career, Jamie traveled extensively conducting market research projects around the world for tech companies like Adobe, Netflix, and Sega.
